Pengurus Besar Esports Indonesia (PB ESI) telah memiliki mekanisme untuk menentukan perwakilan Indonesia untuk setiap game yang dikirim untuk bertanding di IESF World eSports Championship 2022. Para pemain yang berhak mewakili Indonesia adalah tim yang menjuarai liga nasional.

Mekanisme pengiriman seluruh tim diterapkan karena PBESI dituntut untuk segera menentukan wakil Indonesia di tengah-tengah liga yang sedang berlangsung. Sementara itu, untuk beberapa game yang kompetisinya tidak rutin seperti DOTA 2 dan CS:GO, PB ESI langsung menunjuk pemain yang dianggap berprestasi untuk dikirim ke Bali.

PB ESI tidak mau tanggung-tanggung dalam menetapkan target. Indonesia ditargetkan menjadi juara umum.
