MPL Invitational 2023 akan diselenggarakan pada bulan November tahun ini di Indonesia. Untuk babak Grup, mereka akan bermain secara online. Sementara di Babak Knockout, mereka akan bermain di Aula Bola Basket, Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, Jakarta. Ini merupakan salah satu turnamen berskala internasional yang akan menghibur para penggemarnya sambil menunggu dimulainya M5 World Championship 2023 pada bulan Desember mendatang.

Salah satu tim yang akan bermain di MPLI 2023 asal Filipina adalah ECHO PH. Mereka yang mencetak sejarah sebagai juara di M4 World Championship 2022 akan meramaikan MPLI 2023. Namun ada yang sedikit berbeda pada roster ECHO PH kali ini.

Dalam pengumuman resmi roster yang akan berlaga di MPL Invitational 2023 kali ini, tim ECHO PH datang tanpa roamer andalan mereka, Yawi. Beberapa waktu lalu sempat heboh dengan pemberitaan konflik internal antara Yawi dengan pemain dan ofisial Team ECHO PH. Yawi bisa kita simpulkan punya masalah dengan internal tim karena pihak manajemen lebih memilih roamer barunya, Jaypee. Jaypee juga dikabarkan merupakan suami dari manajer ECHO PH, Mitch Liwanag.
