Sementara itu, kapten POCO Star Wahyu Kurniawan atau Leem mengaku sangat bersyukur bisa meraih prestasi jelang FFWS 2023.

“Saya sangat bersyukur bisa berada di titik ini. Pencapaian ini sejatinya berkat kerja keras kami. “Tetapi untuk menjadi juara, tidak hanya butuh kerja keras tapi juga kerja cerdas,” kata Leem.

Pada ajang FFWS 2023 akan bertanding tiga tim asal Indonesia yaitu Thorrad, RRQ Kazu, dan Poco Star.

Ketiga tim ini berhasil mengamankan tiket ke FFWS 2023, setelah berturut-turut menduduki peringkat tiga besar turnamen nasional Free Fire Master League Season 8 (FFML S8).

Pada FFWS 2023, terdapat 18 tim yang akan bertanding untuk memperebutkan kemenangan di FFWS 2023 sekaligus memperebutkan hadiah terbesar dari total hadiah sebesar 1 juta dollar AS (sekitar Rp 15,8 miliar).
