Jakarta (ANTARA) – Wakil Geek Fam Indonesia di Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) M5 World Championship sukses membuat tim Myanmar Burmese Ghouls turun ke lower bracket pada babak penyisihan atau Knockout hari pertama, Minggu.Disiarkan secara online oleh MLBB Esports dari Manila, Filipina, Geek Fam berhasil mengalahkan Burmese Ghouls dengan skor akhir 3-2 dalam format best of five atau sistem pertandingan untuk meraih tiga kemenangan terlebih dahulu.

Geek Fam berhasil bertahan di upper bracket tanpa Jungler asli mereka, Nnael, yang terkena skorsing dua pertandingan setelah dinilai tidak profesional pada pertandingan fase grup sebelumnya.

Caderaa melengkapi roster Geek Fam yang diisi oleh Luke, Baloyskie, Aboy, dan Markyyy yang menggantikan Nnael sebagai Jungler.

Meski tidak menggunakan roster utama, Geek Fam tampil tangguh di game pertama untuk menangkis Burmese Ghouls. Pertarungan kedua tim berlangsung cukup sengit sejak awal permainan.

Meskipun tim Myanmar memiliki poin kill yang unggul, serta turret, lord, dan buff ungu yang lebih banyak, namun hal ini tidak menjamin kemenangan. Wakil Indonesia berhasil mencuri game pertama berkat momentum pahlawan yang dimiliki hingga unggul 1-0.

Geek Fam mencoba melanjutkan dominasinya di game kedua dengan menguasai early game. Namun hal tersebut tak bertahan lama karena Lucua harus berkali-kali dicuri lawan sehingga Burmese Ghouls mampu menyamakan kedudukan 1-1.

Burmese Ghouls sepertinya ingin menyelesaikan pertandingan dengan cepat. Tim Myanmar bermain agresif sehingga membuat serangan jual beli tak terhindarkan, namun Geek Fam tak mampu memanfaatkan momen titik balik untuk mengambil alih kendali.

Game ketiga menjadi milik Burmese Ghouls untuk memimpin 2-1.
