Sedangkan pada tahun 2023, Indonesia cukup banyak menorehkan prestasi di cabang olahraga elektronik ini. Tim esports nasional Merah Putih tampil sebagai juara umum SEA Games Kamboja 2023 dengan raihan tiga emas dan dua perak.

Kemudian, Indonesia berhasil meraih medali perak nomor MLBB pada IESF Esports World Championship ke-15 yang berlangsung di Iasi, Romania.

Tahun lalu, IESF juga menominasikan Indonesia sebagai National Federation of the Year 2023. Ekosistem esports di Indonesia juga mendapat kepercayaan internasional untuk menjadi tuan rumah berbagai kejuaraan esports internasional antara lain M4 World Championship 2023, Bali Major 2023, MPL Invitational 2023, Snapdragon Pro Series SEA Season 3, Ragnarok Stars 2023, dan Grand Final PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023.

PB ESI bersama Garudaku pun sukses menggelar National Esports League 2023. Tahun ini National Esports League kembali bergulir dengan melibatkan kota-kota besar di Indonesia antara lain Medan, Yogyakarta, Padang, dan Samarinda. Sistem yang diterapkan pada kompetisi ini antara lain Liga 3, Liga 2, dan Liga Esports Nasional 1.
