Menurut Bem, memainkan laga internasional diperlukan agar pemain asal Indonesia juga mampu bersaing di pertandingan kelas dunia. Namun pelibatan game lokal dalam pertandingan nasional juga diperlukan agar industrinya terus berkembang.
