Jakarta (ANTARA) – Tim esports Indonesia Thorrad resmi meraih gelar juara Free Fire Master League (FFML) Season 8 setelah memuncaki klasemen dengan 117 poin pada laga Grand Finals, Minggu (8/10).Dikutip dari keterangan resmi yang diterima di Jakarta, Selasa, dengan hasil ini Thorrad akan otomatis mendapatkan tiket ke Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2023 serta hadiah utama senilai Rp 300 juta.
Mengawali pertandingan head start dengan 8 poin yang didapat dari Semi Finals, Thorrad mampu menutup pertandingan dengan total 109 poin (55 poin dan 54 poin eliminasi). Performa mereka di laga Grand Finals cukup impresif karena mampu mengalahkan RRQ Kazu yang hadir sebagai tim favorit di laga final.
Sepanjang 6 ronde, Thorrad konsisten menjauhi kejaran RRQ Kazu yang harus puas di posisi kedua dengan total 93 poin, kalah 20 poin dari Thorrad.
Kemenangan Thorrad tidak sepenuhnya di luar dugaan. Bahkan sebelum menjadi juara, Thorrad merupakan tim yang kaya akan pengalaman karena mayoritas pemainnya pernah berseragam First Raiders (FR) Eclipse dan FR Storm.
