Jakarta (ANTARA) – Tim esports nasional Indonesia di ajang Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang (MLBB) dan DOTA2 memantapkan langkahnya untuk melaju ke babak selanjutnya di ajang IESF 2023 World Championship Esports yang akan digelar di Iasi, Romania, Rabu.Dikutip dari keterangan resmi PB ESI, pemain timnas Indonesia bernomor punggung MLBB itu akan melanjutkan laga selanjutnya di babak penyisihan Grup B.
Pada laga pertama, tim Indonesia akan menjamu tim MLBB Turki, sebelum menghadapi timnas Kazakhstan.

Pada laga pertama yang berlangsung Selasa (29/8), tim Indonesia berhasil meraih kemenangan sempurna atas tim MLBB Amerika Serikat dengan skor akhir 2-1. Atlet Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang yang bertanding terdiri dari Calvin, Dicky Cahyana, I Gusti Made Indra Dwipayana, Hengky Gunawan, Kenneth Marcello, dan Marcel Juan Moreno.
Selanjutnya timnas Indonesia bernomor punggung DOTA2 juga berhasil meraih kemenangan sempurna melawan tim Jordan di babak lower bracket IESF World Championship edisi ke-15. Pada laga tersebut, tim DOTA2 asuhan Jordan harus mengakui keunggulan Indonesia dengan skor akhir 0-2.
Kemenangan ini membuat Indonesia melaju ke babak 3 lower bracket dan berpeluang bertemu Mongolia. Atlet Timnas Esports DOTA2 antara lain Brizio Adi Putra, Syaid Muhammad Resky, Randy Muhammad Sapoetra, Julio, dan Noel Pinot Prando.
